Research Grants

I have a proven track record of successfully securing funding for both research and educational initiatives. During my tenure at USFJ in Brazil, I was awarded over US$45,000 from the Brazilian Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) (grant 249802/2013-9) to support my research activities. Since joining the University of Florida, I have served as Principal Investigator on a funded proposal exceeding US$240,000 and contributed as a collaborator on multiple other funded projects. Table 1 and Appendix A summarize the proposals awarded since 2018 from prominent agencies including NASA, the Joint Fire Science Program, CNPq, and USDA NIFA.
